ABOUT ME

MY STORY

Bob grew up in Cleveland, Wisconsin, a small rural town of mostly farmers. Devotion to family and friends has always been a source of joy and fulfilment; he believes that nourishing supportive relationships is truly a gift.

Bob and his wife, a state of Hawaii native, UW-Stevens Point graduate, and small business owner, met while serving in the US Army Reserves. They now have two sons and have happily resided in the Stevens Point and Plover area for over 25 years.

Bob enjoys playing football and basketball with his children, loves competitive sheepshead and cribbage, and serving his famous brunch off the griddle. Bob cheers on the Packers, Badgers, Brewers, and Bucks!

MY EDUCATION

Bob brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his candidacy for State Assembly District 71. As a descendant of first-generation farmers, he understands the unique challenges and needs of rural communities.

His educational background in Police Science at Lakeshore College, Accounting and Budgeting at Mid-State Technical College, and his service as a Civil Affairs Specialist in the Army, including overseas deployments to facilitate relief assistance and infrastructure rebuilding, highlight his commitment to public service and problem-solving.

Bob maintained dialogue with civilian aid agencies, identified critical requirements needed by local citizens in combat and crisis situations. Bob served as an asset because of his skills to quickly adapt to foreign culture, organize and analyze information, while prioritizing citizen needs.

MY EXPERIENCE

Bob’s twenty-six-year career in Federal Law Enforcement further honed his skills in leadership, resource management, and compliance.

His various roles in the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a Correctional Officer to Business Administrator and AFGE Local 3495 Vice President, provided him with a comprehensive understanding of government operations, budgeting processes, and project management.

Recently retired, Bob has been afforded the opportunity to fully dedicate himself to serving as the District’s Assembly Representative, taking your voices to the capital.

As a veteran, husband, and father, his platform emphasizes enhancing the Midwest way of life, while providing accessible, responsive and accountable representation to ensure Wisconsinites have a great place to live, work, and raise a family. A champion for us in Central Wisconsin, Bob Pahmeier would be honored and privileged to represent the interests of District 71.

“We need a strong and effective voice representing us in Madison. Let's strengthen our economy, provide a safe place for us to live and grow, tackle healthcare costs, find ways to reduce taxes along with the grocery, gas, and light bill, preserve quality education, protect our natural resources, and put more people in affordable homes. My devotion to family, community, and country inspires me to work hard for you."
